Andre Cariou is the founder and managing director of AGRI-GENERATION where he leverages his 25 years of leadership experience in global management, sales, marketing and product development and its network in the worldwide seed industry.
He has worked in France, Mexico, USA and gained insights on the international markets through multiple professional assignments in North and South America, Europe, Middle east and Africa as well as Asia.
Between 2008 and 2018, he held several executive positions for HM.CLAUSE (GROUPE LIMAGRAIN), from VP head of global Sales to DEPUTY CEO leading the global executive team for sales, marketing, seed supply, QA and IT.
In 2018, Andre Cariou launched his own vegetable seed company in Davis (CA), ADMIRAL SEEDS, focused on developing and delivering improved varieties to the international markets and ultimately merged it with LARK SEEDS INTERNATIONAL.
Mr Cariou hold a MSc in Agronomy from ESA Angers (France)
Phillipe Rousseau is a global executive with a wealth of operational experience and leadership expertise in Agriculture. During his international career, he has delivered sustainable top line & bottom-line growth in both mature and emerging markets. He brings a strong business acumen & marketing sense in field seeds, vegetable seeds, seed treatments and crop protection as well as a deep knowledge of the European, Middle East and African markets.
Prior to providing consulting services, Philippe Rousseau was the Chief Executive Officer at VERISEM SEEDS, BV, a Paine Schwartz Partners portfolio company which includes, SUBA SEEDS Co, CONDOR SEED Inc. and BROTHERTON SEEDS Inc. as well as several other acquisitions and new business developments.
Philippe also led the sunflower, oilseed rape and sugar beet seed division at SYNGENTA with an end-to-end responsibility, including R&D, supply chain, marketing and sales operation. He also worked at HOFMANN LA ROCHE, F.A.O, and CARGILL SEEDS and lived in Hungary, Egypt, Switzerland, Italy, and France.
Philippe Rousseau holds an Msc. in Agronomy from Agro-Paris Tech.
Dr. Mark Stowers is a leader in agriculture, bioproducts, and bioenergy with extensive
international experience throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. He has a diverse business and technical background encompassing research management, product development, business development, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, corporate finance and general management.
Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer and President of North America at INARI Agriculture, where he was responsible for Seed Architects, company’s “go to market”
subsidiary, lab, office and site operations in Cambridge, MA and West Lafayette, IN, product development, information technology, and the seed supply chain (multi-seasonal production in Chile, Mexico, Hawaii, and the US Midwest.
Previously he held senior executive positions in the research and business development areas at LIMAGRAIN, POET and MONSANTO. He has also worked to commercialize new technologies and helped new business start-ups as President and CEO of MBI International and the Bio-Business Incubator of Michigan. He was the co-founder of the UCDavis-HM.CLAUSE Life Sciences Innovation Center, and over the last twenty years he co-led the Series A financing round of DRATHS Corporation, supported Series B and C rounds while at INARI, and completed the successful IPO of SEMINIS (SMNS) listed on NASDAQ yielding $206 million for 23% of the company.
Dr. Stowers holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from North Carolina State University.
